The slightly undulating terrain around the Labeška pond provided the Park´s founder with an ideal opportunity to develop a net of long-distance views or openings using a whole range of composition principles: such as the number of vistas fanning out from the pond dam which serves here as a dominant landscape feature offering, one after the other, six distant vistas. Each of them brings a unique composition experience influenced by the different colours and shapes of the woody plants. The paths crisscrossing these openings also offer many reverse-views of the pond surface and the adjacent Habrová hillside. The landscape surrounding the Labeška pond is one of the most impressive of the entire Průhonice Park.
