The Knights´Hall, a magnificent representation room designed by architect Jiří Stibral, who realised the Castle´s last neo-Renaissance transformations, is located in the east wing. Its interior is decorated by carved wooden panelling as well as by a beautiful, coffered ceiling with the original brass chandelier. The facade is decorated with sgraffiti; family coats of arms are painted under the roof overhang on all three sides. The Hall is part of the Conference and cultural centre of the Institute of Botany of the CAS.
