The steep hill and beautiful hornbeam trees have provided the name to the location: Hornbeam hillside. In the fall, the leaves light up the entire hillside with golden yellow. Walking along the forest line above the Labeška pond we reach a crossroad. One path would take us downhill, below the Bořín pond dam and into the meadows of the Botič stream valley. The other slightly upward, through a calm area with many very old oak and linden trees, toward the rocky promontory by the lookout above the Bořín pond.
