The most fascinating of all the oak trees growing on the dam of the Podzámecký pond, the leaves of the shingle oak (Quercus imbricaria) distinguish it from its local relatives. They are elongated, entire, and their shape resembles willow leaves. The tree comes from the central and eastern part of North America.
