The whole area around Czech Cottage offers many interesting corners and views. It is all complemented by a wide range of valuable exotic trees, but also by mature specimens of native trees such as oaks, pines and spruces. In spring you can see deciduous rhododendron taxa (azaleas) in flower, especially Rhododendron poukhanense × obtusum ‘Amoenum’, Rhododendron molle subsp. molle × molle subsp. japonicum, Rhododendron luteum, Rhododendron vaseyi, Rhododendron arborescens, Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Rhododendron albrechtii.
