The majestic nootka cypress (Chamaecyparis nootkatensis ) is the striking dominant of the Large Courtyard and is located by the Castle gate. It is one of the largest trees of its type in the Czech Republic. It can reach up to 30 metres in height and comes from the western coast of North America
