On 21–22 May 2025, an international conference was held in Průhonice to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the founding of Průhonice Park. In this publication, you can read about the role of garden heritage sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the historical background of Průhonice Park and Muskau Park (which has often been compared to it), and how these parks have been cared for in the past and today. The publication helps readers better understand the value of these heritage sites and supports their protection for future generations.
The conference publication is available here.
We have prepared a new video mapping for visitors to Průhonice Park, which presents the entire Průhonice Park complex in an engaging way and provides practical tips for orientation, sightseeing routes, and the location of exhibitions. It also provides an overview of the history and development of the Park and, in particular, the personal vision of Count Arnošt Emanuel Silva-Tarouca, the founder of Průhonice Park as we know it today.
The video mapping was created in collaboration with Lightside and implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
You can find it in the Visitor Center in the Great Courtyard.
We believe that it will make your visit even more enjoyable!
