The rhododendron season is slowly starting!
Early varieties are now in bloom, including the popular ‘Cunningham’s White’. You can find the white flowers mainly along the red route from orientation point no. 7 and near the main viewpoint. Deciduous species are also flowering, for example Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Rhododendron vaseyi. With warmer weather, more and more will follow.
Small-leaved rhododendrons are also starting to bloom – in the rock garden (alpinum), you can now see for example the beautiful purple Rhododendron impeditum. The whole rock garden is definitely worth a visit.
Flowering dogwood and Japanese Judas tree will bloom soon.
We will continue to update you on the flowering. Come and enjoy a walk!

We have prepared a new video mapping for visitors to Průhonice Park, which presents the entire Průhonice Park complex in an engaging way and provides practical tips for orientation, sightseeing routes, and the location of exhibitions. It also provides an overview of the history and development of the Park and, in particular, the personal vision of Count Arnošt Emanuel Silva-Tarouca, the founder of Průhonice Park as we know it today.
The video mapping was created in collaboration with Lightside and implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
